Black pony, whats the measuments on the tank? Price? Any ground clearance concerns? Seems like a decent alternative to a 800$ aftermarket tank..
The tank is huge, its 31 gallons. I just ordered the tank and hanger assembly from ebay. Got the part numbers off oreillys website and put them in the search. I believe all said and done I have around $250 in it all. The fuel pump i actually got for free. I work at a performance shop and we had a bunch of factory 5.0 mustang fuel pumps laying around so i cut out the pump itself and installed it. Those cars run around 55 lbs of fuel pressure so it should be fine. I have also made over 600 rwhp using the stock pump without a boost a pump so I will be fine there. I will try and get a few more pictures, but with the way I fabbed my hitch it barely fits but it fits. Also one thing to note is the filler neck will need to be relocated. Lastly ground clearance should be around 10-11 inches at the lowest point. The tank has a notch at the rear that helps with clearance also. Hope this helps, my swap is not a simple bolt it in, some fab work will be needed, but all said and done it will be at least half the price as most other aftermarket tanks.
