I think most cabs will need rocker repairs and kick panel work too...I have 2 cabs , one that one I am using and one that is a spare that I going to sell soon after I take out the factory air and use it ine the better cab .
I would not build a classic truck with out investigating the rust factor .....easier to do it now then havebad later paint later ...I dont ever plan to sell it ..
