Talking Re: Toasted wiring harness

No Problem! That harness gives me flash backs from High school...... I had a 1964 Plymouth Fury, four door, 318 with a "Push Button transmission" any way's, after rebuilding the engine and transmission, my battery went bad, and I needed a replacement. Well, to make a long story short, the farmer I was working for at that time had a spare battery in his machine shop he said I could have. Well, I'm guessing he must have had his glasses off one day, because he managed to charge that battery "Backwards" yes, Backwards......... and to make a really long story short, after I installed the battery, and made it halfway across town, I seen a smoke cloud unlike the one in the movie "Fast times at Ridgemont High" rolling up through my dash, needless to say, that car was toast, never drove it again.......ROTFLMAO.........good luck with your re-wire job!
