Yes, the cluster back-lighting is basically the same for gauge & warning light clusters. The bulb count & location vary, but electrically they're the same.

However, you have to watch out for the polarity if you're using LEDs to replace the actual warning lights. The "oil", "hot", and "cold" lights all have ignition power fed to one side of the bulb. And the switches on the engine ground the other side to illuminate the bulbs. If the polarity of the LED is backward compared to how the socket is wired they won't work.

Also, an LED probably won't work correctly in the "gen" light because that one is wired in parallel with a 10Ω resistance wire.
