Cant really do that because the blower motor is on the engine-side of the firewall. Eliminating the ac box which houses the blower motor and you have no air flow through the heater box. If you wanna smooth the firewall you have to go aftermarket like Old Air Products, Classic Auto Air, or Vintage Air
