Putter, what insurance agency is screwing you??? My all original, 85K ' 71 truck has been valued at 10 times your amount by State Farm here in Texas.
Last year I had a guy run into the front grill of my truck. They valued my truck, with only 4 options, at $4000 and gave me a check for $950 to replace the inner grill. I would definitely check around for better insurance.
