You can twist the barrel like Doc stated in the link but it want come completely apart unless the cylinder is removed. You need to take the plastic wire connector off and twist it back together then take the cylinder out like you want to begin with then twist it off.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
