 Some wrenching, and we have a latch that latches https://youtu.be/nMq0O4g6lYo Took the carb off and took it home  For some reason I thought it might need cleaning.  I've always been an inline guy, so working with a V8 is different. I do wonder if I should look for a spreadbore carb. to better match the intake. But maybe that should wait for when everything is actually running
