Truck original had a set of split bones and a true hammer dropped axle that was then also drilled, but something was slightly off so, replaced the axle with a new forged unit and went to hair pins and a vega box with cross steering.
Are you still running the stock steering or a F1 style box and drag link or did you swap to cross steer. That change was the biggest improvement up front.

Yes.. the parallel springs are a very nice ride, I was told by Chassis Engineering that they use Dodge D50 springs and they actually have a slight about 1" reverse arc to them. I had called Chassis Engineering about the situation back then and they explained to me that this is correct and they provide a much better ride.
