WTT: My 69 gmc 2500 for a built motor (oregon)
I am looking for a performance motor for my street/strip short bed. The bigger the better and will add money for the right motor.
The Gmc is a factory 396/400, bucket seats, radio delete, ps, pb, cab roof lights. Its now a Target master 350/350 with a bench. Its got surface rust in the bed and thru rust on the passenger front fender tip (you all know where) and drivers rocker. Its never been repainted, so what you see is what you get. It runs and drives good, no knocks or smoke, shifts good. Needs a choke hooked up, roof lights dont work. Everything else works good. Good project or work truck. Still has the big block towers and radiator. I've got the bucket seats out and am puting them in my short bed, but if youve got the right motor we could work them back in to the deal. The bench seat is near perfect though and the buckets would need recovered. Anybody interested? Heres a few pics, tried to show the worst.. Reply to thread, local p/u only.. will sell outright (pm if interested in that) thanks for looking everybody! eric

I could drive the truck with the 402 in it out there. But its way to far for me to go. been driving it around here and it has lots of power its kind of growing on me. iv never had a bigblock truck. It runs better than my 383 smallblock in my blazer and that little motor is mean
