Has anyone used this setup? If so, do you have a picture or better yet, instructions on how to install?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=013 thanks......

Re: Carb Return spring kit info needed
I bought mine from Summit Racing and it came with instructions. Basically the bracket bolts to the carb base and faces forward. The bushings go in the large hole on the throttle arm with a bolt and another bracket. The springs attach to the bracket that bolts to the base and smaller bracket on the arm.
I don't have pictures with me, but I can take a few this evening and post them... It works "OK"-the biggest pain in the rear was getting the springs installed. Brian

Here are some pictures of mine. The carb is a Holley 1850-3 and the manifold is an Edelbrock Performer 2-0.

Re: Carb Return spring kit info needed
IMHO those are the best design for return springs ever. they dont wear out the shaft and are accurate. except I would mount the throttle cable to the large hole for a less touchy pedal. i had the same setup on my 80K20 with a highly modified 4776. it worked flawlessly.

Re: Carb Return spring kit info needed
Forth coming. I haven't finished getting all the parts on yet. I have completely changed the look of this engine. "70c10 " will not let me live it down either.

Re: Carb Return spring kit info needed
My return spring broke this morning on the way to work and the revs shot up to 4K... I could tap it back, so I limped to Walmart (the only place I could find at 7:30...) and bought a small bungie cord and some duct tape. It was a quick fix, and worked great, but the dual spring setup has real appeal for me after the sound of my engine screaming.

Re: Carb Return spring kit info needed
Man, that set up came out sweet, I have Lokar cables on mine, but I like the idea of my springs not wearing out my shaft, I'll have to put it on the todo list. Thanks for the idea
