need some measurements please

Anybody want to get off the couch and measure a couple things for me?

1. How far does the steering column stick out of the firewall?

2. How deep is the wiring gutter/channel on the firewall? I shaved mine and cant remember how much I took off. (trying to decide on a steering column length)

3. How high is are the brake/clutch pedals from the floor?

Thanks!
Josh

Re: need some measurements please

1. 10" to the -- ack, dunno what you call it -- where it necks down to the smaller, flat-sided shaft that extends down to the rag joint. Measured from horizontal center of the column at the firewall (would be longer measured from the top, shorter measured from the bottom). Sure hope that made sense...

2. Upper rain gutter is 7/8". Wiring channel below that is 1 1/4" total, and 1 1/16" to edge of rolled lip.

3. 5" to the underside of the brake pedal (no clutch, I have an auto trans). This is with an oem-style rubber floormat, with oem pad underneath.
