Got antifreeze on the floor.

Whats up? Problem, changed carb from holley to edelbrock. Drove around the block and noticed antifreeze leaking by passenger door. Lifted carpet and found it leaking at heatercore. What caused this? never did this before. I dont use the heater or a/c could the two lines be bypassed. Oh by the way It's a 350 crate in a 77 2wd blazer.thanx for any 411.

Yes you can bypass the hoses heater core is probably cracked just plug the holes in the intake and remove the hoses and heater box (might as well get rid of stuff you can't use any more)

I think it's just a coincidence. your heater core let go just as you were working on the ride.

Re: Got antifreeze on the floor.

Once the heater core is old the connections become brittle. Just pushing on or moving a heater hose can break it. Its just bad luck
