Speaker Wires and Speaker Placemnet
I'm adding a stereo system to my 67 C10. Right now it has no wiring whatsoever but PO has cut out 6x9 holes in the doors. Can you guys possibly post some threads on guys who have added systems and how they set them up. Ex. How they drilled through the doors to run their speakers and speaker wires. Pictures would help of your set up if no threads.
Thanks |

Re: Speaker Wires and Speaker Placemnet
I drilled the door and the cab pillar offset. Cab pillar just below the courtesy switch and put a grommet in hole. Door about 4-5” lower than that with grommet. Offsetting the wire like that lets it lay flat between door and cab when you close the door.
Here is a link to the install I did on my ‘69. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=659786
