I am working on a 69 swb 2wd with coil rear,if I switch to a 1 piece driveline will I need to cut the hole in the crossmember larger?

No....
you should however, remove the carrier bearing bracket.

And if you have a TH350 with the short shaft tail on it, then 4 foot and 10 inches should be what you need.

I run a th 350 Longtail and i use a driveshaft out of a 2 door chevelle |

I had asumed it was original honestly...but with the miles this sucker has, there is no tellin.
I tell them I want U-joints for a 69 GMC and they give me the right ones. |

If its a half ton You will want brand and part number PDQ-0153 that will get you somewhere most places sell Pdq brand stuff or have a book to cross it over as long as you get outside locks that will be the joint you will need If you want extreme Use U Joint Get a brute force p/n Bf-0153 now if you get a newer style driveshaft you will need inside locks In wich case i dont know the part numder but i can get it .
