Electric fans

2004 Silverado

I'm going to buy swap my clutch fan for Electric fans. I'm going to get the harness as well. Is it just hook up and go or does something need to be turned on in the computer

Trading simplicity and reliability for complexity and unreliability is a not great way to go.
