Rear axle codes and help

So I'm converting my 70 from 6 to 5, and I have this code on the rear axle TDE 0522K that is on the pass. Axle tube on the pass. Side yolk I have 3896838 and on the driver side yolk there is GM10. I have done some reader has and found out that most likely has 3.07 gears. Are these any good will they get up some speed I'm going to keep my 350 4 barrel pretty much stock. Can anyone give me some input on this I will eventually have 18x8 and 18x 10 tires and wheels. Thanks for your help

3.07 would be correct. All you need is the "TDE". Here is a link to the ratio charts I posted a few years ago. The 3.07 is a pretty high gear but it should work pretty good with your current setup, presuming you have a TH350.... Not sure when you go with the 18" wheels though, you may not have any low end left at that time.

I think the 0522k may be a date code & the 3896838 should be a part number. I don't know what the GM10 is for.
