Re: Does anyone know this Blazer?
SUPER NICE blazer.
Never seen it on the board before. What year is it suppose to be? (it has 69-70 rear seat and 71-72 front bucket upholstery)

Re: Does anyone know this Blazer?
I was told it was a 1970 that was swapped to a 1972.
What is the difference in the rear seat?

(69-70 had the single scroll pattern in the center of each side) Rear seat looks like an original. The fronts look re done. I was going to guess 71-72. 72 door panels and 71-72 gas pedal arm. I would verify it's not a converted 4x4. Either way it's super nice!

Re: Does anyone know this Blazer?
I am hoping to trade my biscayne for it. I was hoping that there was a build thread on here somewhere.
The current owner did not build it. Ay ideas of what it is worth?

Re: Does anyone know this Blazer?
I would guess $30k-$40k for an original 2wd blazer.
1970 2wd blazers were 6-lug and 4-wheel DRUM brakes. So a few things have been changed. Should have a factory "low hump" floor also.

K5 blazer 4x4 but converting to 2wd and running a 68 front end, kinda wanted to run that pale yellow color. Don't they call that color butternut yellow also? Anyone with a paint code. That's a very nice blazer, would rather the top be white but that's jmo. Donnie

Re: Does anyone know this Blazer?
The "cupholder" console is also a later model item,... but I consider that a plus!
If it was mine,... I would change the wheels and add K5 emblems to the fenders. Everything else looks very nice, from the pics you have posted. I would like to see the SPID also,...

Those wheels are definatly not my favorite. Not sure what i would do, but they would have to go. I was told that the SPID was removed during the restoration by the PO. The first 6 of the vin is CE180S This should be if i am reading it correctly. 4x2 V8 1/2 ton blazer 1970 St. Louis This should verify that it is a factory 4x2. Just can not tell what all factory options were installed.

Re: Does anyone know this Blazer?
I am opposite. Those wheels are not bad at all for aftermarket. There are lots worse that I have seen. Those are the most "common" I'll say. I would not put any other emblems on it. It's clean without them.

Re: Does anyone know this Blazer?
I wouldn't do emblems on a 2wd blazer.
The "K" in the chevy truck lineup indicated 4wd. C10 was 2WD and K10 was 4WD. Since a 4WD Blazer was designated a K5, shouldn't a 2wd have been designated a C5? No such emblem!

Re: Does anyone know this Blazer?
This what the P.O. Did to mine when he painted it. Simply removed the K5. I actually kinda like it.

I still have not been able to meet up with him. We both have had bad schedules the past few weekends.

Re: Does anyone know this Blazer?
I still like the K5Blazer fender emblem.
The true truck guys know what it means. And the true 2wd blazer guys understand how rare they are. I just think since it has all the other trim, it needs the fender emblem to complete the truck. The C vs K argument doesn't hold up. Otherwise all the 4x4 trucks would have K10 emblems on their fenders. Ha. (just my opinion that doesn't count)

Re: Does anyone know this Blazer?
The plain blazer emblem looks ok without the k5 on it. At least no one will Ask If it's A bronco. Lol
