Got a new part I have been looking for
Well I got a new part for my truck I have been looking for for some time now. I have a 1971 GMC now but when I was a kid I hade a 1968 50th and I always loved the round horn button. Well the 71 has the newer wheel in it and just isnt the same. So I have been looking for one that says GMC like the one in my chevy.
I found one and got it but to get it I had to Buy something else to get it. The bus runs great drove it home LOL It's a 1970 GMC 48 pas BUS We will see but I will keep you updated on the bus ha ha ha

BB cruiser. That would make a great ride for a group from the BB to use at cruises and such.It would be cool as a classily converted camp bus also.Or convert the front rows of seats to a camper and put a car hauler ramp on the back.

That bus would be so cool with some one piece alcoa wheels, lowered and a killer paint job. The interior I would make it like a garage have a stainless applainces, toold box etc and open up the rear and make a ramp to be able to drive a vehicle in it.

Good candidate for a cool '60's - looking hippie Flower Power "Magic Bus."
Can you say: "Road Trip ??????" Or as the good-ole boys down here in the South would say: "Day-yum, what a deer-camp rig that would make !!!!" |

I'd like to have a bus that would have been "age-appropriate" in the late sixties/early seventies. I wanted to paint people on the windows like the people that were painted on the windows of the cars I played with in the early fifties. Nowadays, you can do it with paint that is see-through from the inside. All I got off of an old school bus was the pair of horns it had.

................................................................ I know of a hunting-spot that's offered for sale up here in the hills right now that has two schoolbusses, yellow paint & all, parked up real close side-by-side, with a doorway cut into their sides between them, with metal flashing over the top & sides of the opening. Really, pretty well done. One wing = bedroom & bathroom - has a real sitdown throne with a genuine plastic pipe going off down over the hillside. Other wing = living / beer room & kitchen. Yep - all the comforts of home !!! Doubters ??? |

Awesome! Drive around the country and pick us all up for the next national board meet! What series is that bus? C/4500/5500/6500? BTW, I am so envious!

Re: Got a new part I have been looking for
I've always wanted a party bus. Get it as low as possible, bolt down couches in the back, big screen in the very back that doubled as the back up camera screen.
Big block rumbling under the hood. |
