Re: Got a new part I have been looking for

Good candidate for a cool '60's - looking hippie Flower Power "Magic Bus."

Can you say: "Road Trip ??????"

Or as the good-ole boys down here in the South would say: "Day-yum, what a deer-camp rig that would make !!!!"

Deer Camp???? I know people who live in one year-round, and not too far from where you are! Even though the girl (same age as my youngest daughter) grew up after the hippie movement became a footnote in the history books, she is a hippie in the current sense that hippies exist. Yeah, she has a degree and a job, but lives a "green" way of life that befuddles her mom and dad.

I'd like to have a bus that would have been "age-appropriate" in the late sixties/early seventies. I wanted to paint people on the windows like the people that were painted on the windows of the cars I played with in the early fifties. Nowadays, you can do it with paint that is see-through from the inside.

All I got off of an old school bus was the pair of horns it had.

Sounds like you know some "local good 'ole boys" as we call 'em.
................................................................

I know of a hunting-spot that's offered for sale up here in the hills right now that has two schoolbusses, yellow paint & all, parked up real close side-by-side, with a doorway cut into their sides between them, with metal flashing over the top & sides of the opening. Really, pretty well done.

One wing = bedroom & bathroom - has a real sitdown throne with a genuine plastic pipe going off down over the hillside.

Other wing = living / beer room & kitchen.

Yep - all the comforts of home !!!

Doubters ???
