Transfer case ID
Can anyone tell me how to identify which transfer case I have in my Blazer?

If it's stock it'll be a NP205.It'll look like the one below (mine)

BTW, mine is definitely an NP205.

Not always the case. If it was stock with a 3-speed column shift it has a Dana 20 like mine does. NP205s came with the other transmissions.

The little circular cover in the middle with 3 bolts gives it away that its a NP205. That't the easiest way to make a quick ID IMHO

And just to throw in some more confusion, my 70 K5 with a 4 speed originally had the Dana 20.

I think the older ones had the Dana but by 71 or so they had the NP205 with auto,manual,or 3spd.
