67-72 on later chassis
Anybody ever drop the 67-72 cab and bed on a 73-87 Chassis. instead of swapping the cross members and all how much would it take to just drop the body on a newer chassis? thanks

Re: 67-72 on later chassis
the 73-87 wont work without a lot of work because the frame rails are raised at the back of the cab under the seat where the 67-72 is straight. Well it will work if you try hard enough but most only do it on 4wd models because you have to do a body lift to make it fit the frame. There is one guy on (that I know of) here using a 99+ NBS silverado chassis. That looks like a much better choice with the LS drivetrain and all. Maybe an 88-98 chassis would do the trick they are straight under the cab. Good luck
