Underbed Tank Fuel Lines

I have a "92 stepside bed on my "72 and am getting ready to install a under bed tank. There is a filler door in front of the left rear wheel in the fender. Is that to long to run filler hose to? If not, that would make things pretty simple instead of cutting holes in the bed or somewhere else.
Thanks

Shorter the run the better but why not try it before you go cutting holes.Your only real expense would be the length of fill hose, you could even use clear vinyl cause its cheap to see how it works.Obviously the clear is not fuel hose and would only be a test.

Re: Underbed Tank Fuel Lines

Fill hose is cheap, go that route. Go talk to a diesel repair shop, I got a long section for my truck from one of these outfits. Apparently garbage trucks they worked on needed it..

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience, well......that comes from bad judgment.

1968 Chevy C-10 "Longshot": Bought used from my Uncle George in 1994 and proceeding to beat the hell out of it for 4 years. Sold it. Bought it back, dumped an ungodly amount of money into it since then.
