Re: How about dash/guage bezel/guage pics!

swb85 I mounted mine the same as you but hated not being able to see the top of the speedometer and tach so I angled them up

once I get to the interior part of this project I plan on fiber glassing then in to make it look better

Jeff,
Where did you get that pocket on the upper right of the bezel? Is that just a standard non-a/c bezel?

Re: How about dash/guage bezel/guage pics!

i had stock idiot lights
cut off the pocket ,top right
used a Autometer tach for a while till recently installed a factory gauge/tach cluster
and then put my new radio top right

I painted the inside of the cluster gloss white while it was apart
made a big difference, added red LEDS for a second colour

the whites act like normal, red come on when the truck is running
kinda neat having the cluster light up without running lights

That is by far my favorite. Those look so clean being installed as if they were factory but with the perks of autometer gauges. Love it!

I seen that one just some thing about it I really dont like, I've seen that in a truck at a local show it was ok maybe best used for a strip only truck

I personally think the auto meter gauges behind the factory bezel looks the best, I want a custom interior so my bezel's going to get glassed and painted

The lower portion is a little plain, but the recess for the gauges totally rocks.

Thanks , I made the bezel myself out of 1/8" aluminum , I wish I would have made more of them but 1 took me a couple months to build that 1 plus I didn't really think anybody else would like it ! The hardest part was making the bottom half that goes around the column , I must have made 20 trips from the shop to the house to get it to fit just right ,
