Long Project: Orange Julius
Welp, after finally getting back in the states from my first deployment and finally getting to see the truck in person for the first time, its now time to start this. Its gonna be an interesting build as it will all be done in a single car garage in my apartment complex. So, here are my plans for it
Exterior; -Light "creamsicle" orange -Shaved tailgate handle(and relocated) -Clear taillight lenses w/ custom built LED boards -4MM Polished Grille -HID headlight system -35% tinted windows incl. windshield(I know, I know...) -67-70 front bumper(without light cutouts) -18/20" wheel combo -Rhino-lined bed floor Interior; -Complete inside painted satin black -88-90 Chevy 1500 bench seat(recovered black leather and maybe suede) -Brushed "No-Limit" gauge cluster -Autometer Pro-Comp gauges(black faces) -Custom door panels -Smoothed center dash w/ double DIN in-dash stereo -Black carpet -Vintage Air system -Push button start -Brushed stainless steering wheel Suspension/Brakes; -Rear disc brake conversion -Increase front disc size -Complete air suspension -All new bushings and mounts -Black coated frame and components -C-notched frame Engine; -Currently has a 350 which will get -Pulled out, cleaned, and painted -Lunati cam -Gear timing -Bigger carb THEN I have a 327 that will get -Forged internals -Edelbrock aluminum Vortec heads -Same cam -Same gear timing There are some other things that I know Im forgetting, but they will come with time. Here starts the pics and fun! I found the truck on Craigslist while I was deployed and for 4 months, this is all that I knew the truck as |

cool, are you mounting them on the frame with the SD brackets or using the stock spring location?

Nice stance. Are you bracing the inside of that notch?

Re: Long Project: Orange Julius
Well, as I was looking through magazines at Barnes & Noble, I get a new email with this pic He put the bed on today just to get an idea of where good places are to mount everything as far as tanks, compressors and such...

Re: Long Project: Orange Julius
Hmmmm, I will have to talk to him about possibly boxing in the inner side of the frame. Im not gonna do alot of hauling with this truck, but if I want to throw an engine or something in the back, I just want to be safe...

Re: Long Project: Orange Julius
Alrighty!!! Update time. I picked up a set of 18" Boyd Coddington Magneatos for it. I havent seen many of our year trucks with them and I really like them.
Also got a nice little discount on some billet trimmed taillights at the Good Guys Show in Del Mar And then finally, got the tanks, and compressors mounted up and all the lines and fittings are going to be run here in the next couple days I have also decided on s color for the truck, but im keeping that a small secret until it actually happens |

Re: Long Project: Orange Julius
Nice score....was the vendor there with those taillights? Or was it an individual selling a set...I am going to run those on my truck....eventually

It was the vendor. Fesler Billet was the company

Currently I am not deployed. However I do leave on the 8th, and yes, my father is doing all the work you have seen so far. Once I get back though, it is all my work to be done
