cowl hood and others for sale

67-68 goodmark cowl hood, has two minor dents from hood hinge needing more bracing. Painted silver. 250.00 no shipping,

also have a gm 14 bolt rear axle out of a single wheel truck, unsure of ratio, believe its 4:10 150.00 no shipping

Shipping is no bigee if you still have the box it came in or one like it take it to Greyhound and let her go they are cheeeeep and parts are always in good shape when they arrive much unlike fed ex just my 2 cents anyway ttt for you later Mike

its a 2 inch cowl i believe, it is the one in the pic. the areas circled in red are braces that push on the top of the hood skin and made a small round "outy" dent on both side. I think it is caused by the new hinges and springs being much to stiff.

You know,I was just reading through this post and thinking and that's really a shame. You would thing the quality of the hood would be good enough to withstand this type of use. It's not like your misusing it. Oh well. I would sent a note to Goodmark, not to complain or ask for money back but to "just let them know". That's all, sorry to high jack your post.

Lost Wages, Yours is still my favorite truck with the silver, stance and cowl hood. I was going to use one on my short fleet and now you have me worried. Are you replacing it with a stronger hood in that area? I would be interested but no shipping puts me out of range.

for right now im going back to a stock hood, goodmark knows about the problem and the locale dealer i bought it from says its not the first he had do this but im sol. The truck is painted in sikkens base clear and is a 2004 dodge viper silver. ill try to get some pics of the damage but its in a dark corner of my basement so im not sure they will turn out.

its really dark in the asement on the sde the hood is resting, these are what i got as far as pics go. you can see a little crack in the paint, same on both sides. easy fix. not sure im going to like the stock hood on it so if this doesnt sell i might use it done the road.
