Ruff Idle
well got my burb on the road but it's not running smoothly when idleing it will idle up and then down to almost die then pick back up,sounds as if it has a miss but has new plugs and good wires, and its wired right, wondering if it's in the points, they look new though,or maybe the timeing tried to adjust it but same results.the carb has been rebuilt could it just be it.any help would be appreciated Thamks Randy BTW it's a 250 six.

im no expert on this but mine was idling funny like that and i found one of the rubber vacuum plugs on the carb was cracked. i put a new rubber plug over it and that took care of the problem...im not running a six but considering you just had your carb done at least its something to look for...good luck

Definitely sounds like a vacuum problem, as in a vacuum leak.
