Factory Top or side batt. Terminal?
Who use the top and who uses the side terminals on their batt?
Which one came factory? Cheers

Don't the newer batteries have both the side mounts and top mounts already? You can use the side mounts to the vehicle and use the top mounts to jump.

I use the top mounts, just bought some little adapters, so I do want to run a side mount, its just a matter of unscrewing the adapters.
The battery I am running doesn't have side mounts anyways (1200 amp tractory battery)

Both use my side for truck top for my amp and cd wires with a top mount adapter.

top on the truck (jumping and fixing bad conductivity) and side for the camaro (only because top post wont clear the hood..makes it a pain to get to the 4 gauge amplifier wire)

I use the side posts for the starter and stereo amp. The top posts are used for the electric fans. They are connected with gold plated terminals. Each has a plastic cover. They look sharp.
