Finally Pics

Well Folks, after being on this board almost a year I finally got some pics to show. I bought her 3 years ago for a grand. Had her towed home and put in my garage. I had to finish landscaping my backyard, to make the wife happy, so I have only done a few things so far, and I'm really slow too. Fortunately she's not my daily driver, I just play around with her when time permits. First, I got her running, new fuel pump, battery, plugs, points, 4 row radiator etc. She runs but leaks, I'll be rebuilding the motor soon. Complete brake job, rotors, calibers, drums, pads, shoes, cylinders etc. Also repaired the e-brake, some cables were missing etc. Took dash apart and cleaned, sanded underneath to get surface rust off etc. Installed new gas tank, body mounts, new tail gate and started removing paint, rust from bed and priming. Then I'll do the rockers etc. Just got a welder, so I need to learn to use it. Spending alot of time/money just collecting all the little things. There's more, but hey, I'm getting old and can't remember right now. The plan is just to go through her completely and fix/replace everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, then drive her for awhile. Then I'll make a decision wether to do a complete frame off or just to beat her back into a pile.

Thanks to all on this board for the many ideas, suggestions, parts and most of all inspiration by showing/sharing your rides.

Jimmy72Custom: yes it's a factory 4 spd.
Crispy: last year around May/June there was a thread on the bikini top. Yukon Jack and TonyP took the bull by the horns and had some made up at that time. I've recently seen this request surface again on the board and I think Yukon Jack was looking into if more could be made. Send him an email and see.

thanks to all for you responses!

It is likely the guy who made the initial batch of bikini tops will still make them as he owns a company that makes boat tops. Member tonyp is the one to send the order forms to and if you PM me, I will send you the .pdf order form. I would recommend PM'ing tonyp before you order one to make sure he can still get them made.
