modelers show us yours
here is one of my better models. built about 5ish years ago. suspension articulated, complete steering represented like actual truck, shift lever & turnsignal lever added, solder exhaust, foil side trim, 36 inch swampers, scratch built tool box, frame cobbled from stepside and Ramcharger, what do ya think?

That is REALLY COOL! Amazing detail, and good scale on the lift/wheels/tires.

How do you "foil" the sidetrim. I've heard of others doing this as well....how is it done? I'd like to try!

man so many questions , i wish i was a 10th that good , how did you do the foil thing , where in the he11 did you find swampers , or atleas they look like them anyway !! how did you do the movable suspension ect , just alot of how !!! lol

I'm in the middle of a 73 ford cobra. Next up is a plan to beat up a 66 olds 442 that didn't turn out right. ya know, rust, dented fenders, etc.

www.modelexpress.net is one place i have bought some stuff. they're great people to do business with. they have swampers under "tires" and a whole lot more. prewired distributors, brake lines, aircleaners, diamond plate, not to mention lots of new and discountinued kits. they have the 68 GMC step right now, and the AMT 72 chev. for all these accessories, check under Model Car Garage.
