B&M sells a floor shifter that looks like a straight drive shifter. It sits up high enough that you do not have to bend down. It features a reverse lockout also.

Thumbs up

I have the B&M Megashifter in my truck hooked up to my 350 tranny with a shift kit and love it. It looks cool and is alot of fun banging thru the gears and barking tires. You do have to get used to it because reverse feels a little weird.
