72 K-10 AC Removal

Removing the AC system from my 72 K-10 because most of it is missing. I have the under hood portion figured out and have found a source to allow removal of the under hood housing. Here is the question, can I replace the underdash ac hard plactic ducting with a none ac hard plastic ducting? (I know the flexable air ducts are not a problem) The cabling, wiring and actuators are different but is that the only differance? Will mount in the same location?

Thanks

Re: 72 K-10 AC Removal

Welcome to the 67-72 Truck Board from West Michigan!

If you are wanting to replace the AC with the standard heater setup then it is a little bit of a project. The firewall holes for the AC and standard heating are different. It can be done but the question is : Will AC become desireable in the future?" AC in our trucks can be nice!
