73-80 K truck owners -- cab mount pics needed
Can anyone with a 73-80 K10/20 truck do me a solid and snap a couple of pics of the front cab mounts? I need to see if there's any washers or spacers that sit between the cab support and the upper rubber cushion, as well as any that may go below the lower cushion and bolt. Thanks for any help in advance.

ill have a pic shortly but basicly it is:
Bolt Bolt top washer Body ---------------------- Bushing top cone washer Bushing top ------------- Frame ------------- Bushing bottom Bushing bottom cone washer ------------------------ Nut through bolt Is you have a metal washer above the bushing top cone washer that is to lvl the body on the frame for whatever reason it is needed Baron |

Re: 73-80 K truck owners -- cab mount pics needed
Kinda rusty, but here's the one on my 77 plow truck:
When we restored dad's 77, we put all new mounts on that truck. If I remember correctly, each mount (upper & lower) had a built-in washer and tube/sleeve assembly molded into the rubber. No separate washers. Last edited by ray_mcavoy; 06-08-2010 at 10:07 PM. |
