price check

Have a chance to pick this up in the am, 84 6.2 diesel, 700r, one very small rust bubble, needs batteries, tires. $900. Is it worth the $ with the diesel?

About 1.5 hr away though, should have it home in the afternoon and will post more pics

That's the plan but I'm worried I might not be able to get rid of it because of the diesel. Then I'll have another project my wife says I don't need

Looks solid, go for it! You'll really enjoy the mileage from that 6.2 if it's a runner.

Re: price check

Picked the truck up this morning, I'm glad I decided to buy it. Overall a pretty nice truck, only rust is a spot about 2" diameter behing the drivers rear wheel, needs a lot of cleaning, and a couple of minor things like door latch fixed, grille, tires, chrome trim...

I think I am going to list it for sale and if it doesnt sell in 2-3 weeks I might just pull the drivetrain/wheels tires out of my K5 that doesnt seem to be selling, sell the blazer as a roller, drive this since the paint isnt really too bad. I'll get some more pics tomorrow

Re: price check

That would be cool, but this truck wont get bags. I want something to cruise without ever having to worry about air leaks, compressor going out...

Re: price check

Here's a few pictures. I had enough time to get the drivers side waxed which made a huge difference before it started snowing so I'll have to get the passenger side done this weekend and I'll get the interior cleaned up a bit more also. I started pulling off the chrome trim on bottom but my rubber wheel died so I figured I'd bolt my Coys on and see how they look. I think It looks pretty good for the $$, it's got some hail damage on the hood and some small dings on the door and one of the bedside but not bad. I might even bolt some spindles and a flip on this weekend if the weather holds up.

Nice!!
I wish I could pick up that 6.2...
Not really economically feasible to drive 8000 miles though

Haha yeah I guess that really wouldn't make sense would it.

Think that I can get a couple hundred bucks out of that diesel on Cl?
