Will this fuel sending unit work?

Using a fuel tank out of an 87 G10 Chevy Van. The fuel sending unit is bad, and I'm going to buy a new one. Just want to make sure this one will give me a accurate read out when using the original fuel gauge.

The new one's specs are:

Resistance When Empty (Ohm): 0 Ohm
Resistance When Full (Ohm): 95 Ohm

Re: Will this fuel sending unit work?

I believe you need a 90 ohm sender.

Re: Will this fuel sending unit work?

I used a 0-95 ohms unit out of a k5 blazer. Tested in truck and works perfectly.
