Re: bbw /c-60 question

In general, it's the same cab.
Dash is different and cab mounts are convertible, (can be converted)
It is 100% easier to "re-cab", changing the dash and fitting the cab to a 1/2 ton frame than it is to do a BBW conversion. Just saying

Re: bbw /c-60 question

Yes the cabs are basically the same with a few differences. The biggest difference is the lack of a trans tunnel/hump in the floor. As 66-PMD-GMC said, you could use the whole cab, as long as it is not a LCF cab

Re: bbw /c-60 question

chris apache -junction -NO its easier to do the window change ! the roof had something big dropped on it ! just seen the truck, thought the price might be right for a bb window conversion

Re: bbw /c-60 question

Most of the BBW conversions I have seen look OK but ....
IMHO....
to do it correctly the roof skin should be pulled so that the top seam can be welded right.
Of course I have only done this conversion a couple dozen times so I'm still learning. ;-)
Then again, you have your eyes on the job so you would know best....
Good luck on your job!
