Re: Electric fan wiring

Inside the cab on the fuse panel there are unused terminals marked ignition unfused. Use a test light to confirm.

Question Re: Electric fan wiring

It all depends on how you want the fans to function. Do you have AC on the truck? Are you running dual fans are just a singal? What size fan are fans? How much air does it move?

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Electric fan wiring

Sounds as if he wants it to turn on either with IGN on or, its just to make the relay for the fan "live" until a temp switch grounds the relay to provide power to the fan(s). Just a guess tho. Inside the cab is acceptable, just make sure to route the IGN source wire through the firewall in a manner that won't cause it to ground out against anything sharp or it'll kill more than your fan relay.
