Parting out. '69 1/2 ton big block

I'm using the big block parts. Body is very, very rusty but still some good body cuts available such as bed floor, inner bedsides where they meet the floor and and taillight sections, cuts starting at $35. Seperate ads for grill at $225, bumper $100 and A/C system for $800. Let me know what you need...

Its black interior. Probably just some seatbelts are usable and unsure of the condition of those, driver retractor and cover seems usable, some rust on buckle insert tongue.

I do have the engine, its complete, like I said I am using the big block install parts such as frame stands, motor mounts, alternator and PS mounts.

The guy says the engine runs and I believe him, it appears he used a gas can to the fuel line and cut the purple wire to the starter to start it...that stuff is obvious from looking under the hood. Engine appears all original with still installed A/C compressor and factory AIR pump and lines. Carb is not correct but still has the TH400 kickdown switch that is correct on the carb for '69

It was last registered in 2008.

I would sell that engine for $400, I am taking it out in between now and Sunday if you want to hear it run.

I will go ahead and get it started up today and see how it runs.

I was going to ask about the exhaust manifolds but am looking for a set without the smog holes. Would you mind telling me the part numbers for the manifolds when you pull the motor?

Randy, does it still have the dual exhaust hangers? If so can you get pics and a price shipped to 46562 please?

Thanks,
Mark

The truck has the thin angle bracket hangers under the cab and the thin 45 degree angle brackets behind the tire on the frame on both sides. I think they will all fit in a small flat rate box, so $26 shipped if you want them. If that's the type you are looking for I will get some pics. The later model (71-2 at least) big block brackets are much heavier brackets.

Re: Parting out. '69 1/2 ton big block

Can you get pics of the exhaust hangers? I am unfamiliar with the differences. My truck is a '70 so these should work?

Thanks,
Mark

I took the pictures and will post them in a bit. I am thinking the exhaust brackets are the same to 71 and then heavier in 72. I took a picture of a 72 hanger for comparison.

Re: Parting out. '69 1/2 ton big block

Pics of the hangars the top ones are under the cab for a 72, RH side is on the right and the view your looking at is from the front of the truck, just look at one at a time to envision how they mount. Bottom left is under cab mount for 69-71 at least, that one is drivers side. Bottom right is above the axle hangar.

Sorry but I realized I need them for a truck I am building...I usually only build 72's is why I think I thought they were for sale.

I'm just posting the picture since I went out and took it and for future reference.

The bottom pictures are of the 69-71 tailpipe hangars.
