thanks, i'm on the lookout for a mirror and some exhaust tips... i've used some two part epoxies in the past that worked very well.. i'm just afraid of making a mess.. i guess any old mirror will do ... thanks alot

Welcome from central Florida. Very sharp truck!
Drive it to the car wash and clean the steering box, power steering pump, lines and resevoir. Drive it home and then you should be able to find the leak.

yup ..that is the plan... power spray the engine compartment and underneath and see where this leak is coming from... sure hope its an easy fix.. Is there something that goes in these p.s. in this truck..that is more apt to break or seal ??// . sorry new to the 72

Unless it's been done before all this stuff is 40 years old. I had to replace the steering box (pay someone to do it for you!) and lines. Remember...no matter what it takes, it's worth it.

yeah, no doubt.... i'm thinking cosmetic things already, but who knows what i'm going to have to put into some of these other things... p.s. a.c. to get them functional.. I guess i'll find out soon... thanks..
