Re: New 2 me 1966

Thanks for posting the photo. Now I can search and see if I can determine the original application.

On another note, should you choose to go with Cooper tires, you might want to check reviews on some of the tire sites. I've been extremely happy with their snow tires, and they were specified equipment when my wife drove an ambulance. But some models of their street tires have very soggy sidewalls. I had a pair on the front of my truck a few years back and couldn't wait for them to wear out so I could get something stiffer. They made the truck wobbly at passing speed. Just something to consider. And thanks again for the pic.

Re: New 2 me 1966

time for update.

Got me some new shoes a month or so ago....painted the wheels, put on a new seat cover and installed a new floor mat, had AM radio fixed and connected FM converter and fixed spot light so she works now. Painted the white stripes and installed new side molding. Installed new valve covers and air cleaner...oh yeah, and the new front plate.

Now I'm just driving it every day, rain or shine!

Re: New 2 me 1966

i love it! nothing better than driving an old truck that runs and sounds good and not have to worry about a scratch or ding here and there or getting home before it rains.
