Leftover parts: Cab, K30 frame, core supports, etc...
Hello all,
Need to buy a few ton of coal soon, looking to clean out some project leftovers: NIB Energy suspension body mount sets - Have '73-80 and '81-87, one of each in black. $60 for '73-80, $75 for '81-87 obo. NIB Milemarker hubs - External (bolt-on), for early 3/4 ton Dana 44 axles. $85 '84 core support - Solid, very little (if any) rust. $100 obo. '73-80 core support - Very solid, no rust. $100 obo. Brand new 25 gallon Blazer (or rear mount pickup) gas tank. $100 I'm sure there's more, that's all for now. Some of this stuff I had no idea what to list for, so make offers. Will make package deals as well if someone makes a trip ![]() Most items local pickup in central PA, near Williamsport. Would ship the body mounts or hubs, that's about it ![]() Can get pics of anything if interested, working right now ![]() Thanks, Joe Posted via Mobile Device Last edited by K30_dump; 03-05-2014 at 08:49 PM. |

So did you ever get a K30 dump together?

Re: Leftover parts: Cab, K30 frame, core supports, etc...
Gerry,
No, sadly I did not ![]() Came upon an '01 C3500HD chassis last summer that was thought to have a bad engine (6.5 TD), as it was run low on oil. Truck was immaculate, owned by a roofing company with only 87k miles. Bed was missing, otherwise complete. Bought the truck for $250 and drove it home, never needing an engine. Located a 10' Iroquois dump body (with telescopic cylinder) and installed it last fall. Not sure if you're familiar with the 3500HD line, but they had a GVW of 15K, Dana 80 rear (10 lug) with 19.5" wheels, and solid I-beam front axle. Not 4wd, but a very heavy beast. More of a 4500 or 5500 series than a 3500 ![]() Anyway, hated to give up on the dream. Really wanted a K30, this was (in many ways) more practical though... Joe Posted via Mobile Device |

Sorry to hear that. I use a 2012 K3500HD as my work truck. Nice to have "new" dependable stuff. The K30 dump I have is a "as needed" truck, nice but wouldn't want to drive it everyday. Good Luck.

I would be interested in the core support depending on pix. As far as shipping, if you could just wrap it really good and give me a weight I can email you a sticker to put on it and get FEDex to deliver. Also depending on what shipping would cost. NP problem if you don't want to sip, this is a would be nice if it is really clean but not a need.
Thanks, Steve |

I'll get some pics tomorrow. Are you interested in the '73-80 support or the '81-87 unit? If you send the label and such, I could work something out. Worst part will probably be driving it to FedEx (20 miles or so), but they may be able to pickup ![]() Thanks, Joe Posted via Mobile Device |

I think I'll take the 81-87 body mounts. Do you have a part number?

Re: Leftover parts: Cab, K30 frame, core supports, etc...
I checked into it, the shipping is the killer. Great price for the core though. I did find a 75 truck local that has a great front end, but I have to buy the whole truck. I am tired of stripping trucks.........on well, I tried. Thanks for checking the weight for me. I am going to pass.
Have a good Thanksgiving, Steve |
