we got the rear sway bar mounted
drive shafts arrived and in place but still need to adjust the rear axle up 3 degrees and measure for appropriate shocks

Re: project pacific wonder
the front axle is also in place
time to install the skid plate and finallize the fuel lines and fuel pump wire harness also have the mounting bracket and serpentine tensioner i purchased the vintage air ac kit and the compressor it came with will be a challenge to fit into the place we need to put it so we have decided to go with a dodge AC compressor instead

Re: project pacific wonder
Jeremy, the bracket is from an industrial application motor, working on a part number for you.

Re: project pacific wonder
the previous accessory/tensioner bracket pictured does not work as it blocks a coolant port at the top of the motor....here is the progress on the new bracket we are machining.

Re: project pacific wonder
here is a customed machined swivel port for the coolant, it will mount between the accessory bracket and the motor.

Re: project pacific wonder
i have finally bolted the body to the frame....it is comming together!
some more headway in the machining department... the adapters are about finished and the gear has been mounted to the PS pump which will run directly from the cam shaft

Re: project pacific wonder
well the push rod for the brake has been adapted with an adjustable fitting to better reach the pedal. and finally mounted. we bench bled the master cylinder and then the brakes. only 2 leaks so far. i expect more leaks when the motor is running and the hydro boost pressure is applied to the brakes.
also mounts and brakets are in process for the radiator and intercooler. should be done this week, fingers crossed! and finally here is a picture of the grid heater for extreme cold weather starts. the last picture is an eyelet for hoisting the motor in the future as well as a solid anchor for aligning the accessory bracket and coolant intake port.

Re: project pacific wonder
alternator if here...we will be adding an after market internal regulator to it.
had some trouble getting the right mounting pads for the radiator, now that we have them it is time to make the mounting brackets. also have all the tubing bends and connectors for the intercooler, etc... really beginning to come together.
