old 305 engine

ok i went and picked up my old 305 engine that was in my truck and tore it down within 2 hours, sure doesnt take long to tear them down but anyways as i suspected it was the 7th cylinder piston that chipped. also it didnt groove the cylinder wall or anything else. Everything that was on the engine is intact no cracks that i can tell, cylinder walls smooth no visible imperfections. ok i now have a project block(just bought an engine and already wanting to build another lol). any major things i would need to do to pump out high horsepower? btw how do u tell the difference between a hydralic cam and a roller/mechanical cam? the lifters are in a cylinder shape without rollers or anything. also i noticed i drove my truck to swap engines with about 1/2quart of oil in the engine cause thats about how much drained. any parts you need off of a old 305 that you could use ill sell. the intake needs to be cleaned of carbon deposits, ive chisled away a lot of the deposits lol. but any parts off of it id be willing to sell cheap and we can work on the shipping. ill post pics tomorrow or monday.
