Re: Yellow with blue interior??

The 67 thru 72 era takes the prize for the most unpredictable interior color combos. The use of interior colors just about always contrasted with the exterior colors, even on more predictable colors, shades of upholstery or steering columns rarely matched the exterior color.

Maybe it's just an "old yeller"

Sorry couldn't help it.

Company truck. Company colors. Pretty common.

Re: Yellow with blue interior??

I know it's a square but dredging up this old thread. Can't find any other discussions of this color combo. Just bought. I'll be looking for a build sheet tonight to confirm.

Re: Yellow with blue interior??

So my father in law said that back in the day when you went to the GM dealership to order a new truck they had a form with check boxes for your options. Sometimes if the guy filling it out was sloppy or the carbons didn't line up you ended up with some weird color combos. His buddy ordered a 72 in hugger orange with black interor. When it showed up it was hugger orange with green interior. I think he said at the time his buddy needed the truck so they knocked off a couple hundred bucks and he took it home. He couldn't get past the colors so he sold it to my father in law a couple years later, who still has it to this day.
