My 68 has that same bracket for the res. Mine also once had the set-up for dual batteries, but my aux. tray isn't like any of the ones I've seen on the board. I was told by the 1st owner is came from the dealer that way. The "tray" is nothing more than two hunks of flat steel bent into "J's" and bolted to core support.
