Re: post 1/4 mile times

I have gone through 7 sets of front coils and finally tonight found the right pair. The ones I an running are Hal 14" 350lb 2.5" ID coil over springs in the sotck perch. I fabbed up a quick LCA centering deal with some 1/4" plate and 2 1/4" exhust tube. With no space it is 3/4" off the lower bumps. I'll fab up a spacer on Sat for the top, probably a 1", but talk about weight xfer I never had

Re: post 1/4 mile times

My truck was hooking really good, but i would still like to get weight transfer also. I'm in the process of getting the gas tank out of the cab and going with a polished one under the bed, and also moving the battery into the bed. Then i'm going to go ahead and put a moly cage in it and spray a 150 shot hopefully i get it into the mid 10's.

Re: post 1/4 mile times

I have a new quartermile time. 11.37 at 115.81mph. with a 1.58 60ft. 7.18 1/8mile. All i've done was bumped timing up to 40deg. I'm very excited. I was told that i'm still spinning off the line. Need some drag shocks real bad. It was my last pass so i wasn't to worried about being kicked off the track. still need a cage.
