Re: mylow53 build
some progress albeit not easy. i finally got a couple hours to fiddle with the truck last night and i got the grill half in. from a distance every thing looks aligned but up close and according to the ruler it needs to be adjusted. not easy with all that new paint! and my seat is done!! pleather actually feels better than my dodge leather seats. very supple.

Makes you want to slide across it and go "r-r-r-u-u--p-p-p-p". Nice looking seat, if my wife sees it I'm in trouble.

Re: mylow53 build
thetruck is looking amazing, really coming togehter now, and take your time on the adjustments theyt pay off in the end ao no rushing now or you will regret it, by the way, that seat looks amazing, you said it was pleather, so not ultra leather or leather, my mom does upholstrey and i never have come across that, makes me want to look for it, i wonder how it will hold up and what the price of it may be.

Re: mylow53 build
yes 4" off the top did the trick on the seat... nothing like waiting for almost 2 years to sit down!

Re: mylow53 build
Very, very nice. I agree, looks like 4 inches was perfect. Must feel great to finally sit in it after the 2 year wait (2 years of not sitting must be hard on the back and legs).

Re: mylow53 build
saturday i installed the lokar gas peddle and cable. i decided i wanted to live. i did spend around 4 hrs trying to fab up one that would use the original peddle. the engineering was apparently over my head so i went with something that actually worked. so once that was done i did a simple front end alignment. nothing fancy just making sure the tires were square to the ground and both pointing straight. took out the stands and started her up and did on lap around the block!!!! it been around 10 years since i've drove it... pulled it in to the drive way and gave her a bath!!
