Re: Help me make up my mind please
I'd roll in that 68 too...probably drop it and put some nice rims on it and enjoy the heck out of it. One thing I am going to add is I have to do suspension one way or another. A PO Hacked the front spring and heated the rear and the shocks are bad as well of course so it's basically unsafe to drive it now. I picked up drop a-arms and lowering springs and lowered shocks from Charlie (70K52WD) yesterday for a GREAT deal so I am leaning towards that now.
You guys are talking some sense into me and I appreciate all the opinions...that's one reason I love this board so much!

Re: Help me make up my mind please
I am going to paint it up though. I got an Excellent deal on body work and paint and already have the paint and supplies w/out a receipt so I'm not throwing that money away. Like I said...600 more and it goes from an unassembled primered truck to a painted truck.
It really is all about the prospective buyer...I won't be changing much from stock (actually undoing many of the changes) so with the TT ST's being a "nostalgic" style wheel even in the 20" I think it will be marketed more towards the static drop crowd. Plus, as many as I hear on here afraid of bagged suspensions, I can't afford to lose a sale over that.

I'm looking forward to taking a ride in your blazer w/ the top off. I'll buy the pizza, but you can drive...I wouldn't want to scratch your pride and joy.

Re: Help me make up my mind please
I would rock that 68 also, where is it at? But, back on topic, if it were me I would go the cheapest way out to make the truck sellable. Don't give away all the fancy stuff you have for it, keep it to sell or use in the future, Its going to be hard to sell a truck like that for that kind off money with the way things are so why use the good stuff? But, I'd plan on a loss because very rarely do you ever get what you got into a project, just part of the hobby. good luck with whatever you decide.
