He's looking for short beds....plus, both those have been on craigslist for over 8 months so I can only assume there is more rust when you see them in person...

nice score. Once you start adding your touches to it post up more pics. That will give you time to get the camera cleaned or fixed

Ummm me either unless I happen to pass through advance auto or someplace like that. The good news is under the cover though. The seats are in really nice condition less the 5 dollar covers... A decent bench seat came with her as well so I'm not sure which way to go really. I have lots to worry with before the seats become an issue.

A true super I guess.. but it came from the factory pretty bland no ac or whatever else might have been available in the day. I bet you have some parts I might need don't you! $$

I need to make a list and figure out how to attack this thing.

Thanks, I live in Contrary Creek about 2 miles down the lake from the plant... you pass by my road everyday to get there (Centerville) on the left just before the RR crossing. I guess the outage is about over now isn't it?
Don't bother looking for the truck out on the road yet, lots to do.

Re: Gotta have a C-10... Help

I know where there is a 72 short wide bed, one owner, around 100k miles, pretty darn straight truck, there is some rust in the rockers but I checked under the dash and from I could see under the dash all looked good, could not get under the hood to look at it there, I know you will have to do some rewiring, the guy's son got a hold to it but it looked like a new wiring harness under the dash, he is asking $2,000. This would definitely be worth considering. If you are really interested I can go take some pics and post them for you. Bring a car trailer and get that baby home.

I appreciate you posting about the truck but I got lucky earlier this week and brought the red and white one home. Now with that being said if I had any cash left I would love to look at... Not the case though. I bet someone on here would like to look at it.

Re: Gotta have a C-10... Help

Found a 72 short step side today in Conley GA. Straight 6, 3 on the tree, wood bed, green in color, daily driver. Seller is asking for $4000. Great project truck will not require a lot of body work, but needs new wood in bed. Pm me for his number.

yeah, they're getting ready to turn both reactors on. #2 was down for refueling and #1 had tripped due to the earthquake.
I know exactly where you are. I grew up on the lake over on the Orange county end. I've been dabbling in these ol' chevys for the past 30 years. If youre new to this scene, I would suggest Bill Athey,of Athey's truck parts up in Front Royal, for most any new or used part you might need.Been dealing with him for years, super guy, plus he's a board vendor member on here. Its nice to know that there's someone so close on here. If you ever need any anything let me know !
