Re: 67-72 Black powder coated upper/lower control arms

If these work for my '72 and the control arms haven't ovaled out, I'll take them. Shipping will be to 98230, Blaine, WA
Thx,
Al

Re: 67-72 Black powder coated upper/lower control arms

From my understanding these should work fine for a '72. They do not seem to be ovaled out where the springs sit. They are a very solid set from what I can tell. They were for my project but I have turned a different direction with it so these have not even been put on a truck yet.

63-70 Ball joints and control arms are the same. 71/72 are different. The 72 bumpstops allow for sharper turning, and the ball joints are larger. Now that being said, you can use the 63-70 control arms, but the ball joints will not work. You would have to change the ball joints to 71/72. WES

Re: 67-72 Black powder coated upper/lower control arms

Thank for clearing that up wes! I am glad you said something. The ball joints are for a 73-87 truck so they will npt work with factory 72 spindles is my understanding. I bought a truck full of stuff from CPP and the drop spindles they use are for a 73-87.

Thank you wes for saying something! I really do not want to screw anybody!

That's what I was thinking, thx Wes. Zack, when I said "ovaled" I meant where the shafts went into the A-arms, if they are worn and did they have any play. I have some '72 ball joints so as long as they are '72 arms I'm good with them. Did you want to keep the ball joints?

I'll still "take them"

pm coming your way

thx,
Al.
